The latest update of BuildingReports ScanSeries for both Android and iOS includes a host of updates to devices and fields associated with existing devices. While this post does not include every update in the latest release, we’ve selected some of the highlights to share with you in this post.

BuildingReports recommends keeping your ScanSeries app up to date with the latest release. Android users should update to version 1.1.358, while iOS users should update to version 2.25.8 in order to remain current.

FireScan

Location and Description – you will see new “Financial” options for financial institutions, including: Cash Room, Drive Up Area, Drive Up Station, Hold Up Button, Lobby, Night Drop, Personal Banker, Safe Deposit, Safe Room, Teller Area, Teller Station, Teller Work Room, Vault, Vestibule, Walk Up, Waiting Area

Alarm Device – new values have been added to the Type field for Sync Module and Dual Sync Module

Control Panel – now includes a new field for Auto Evac Time

Heat Detector – added new field for Temperature Rating

Multi-Criteria Detector – added new Type field with the following values: Rate of Rise/Fixed, Smoke/Heat, Smoke/Gas, and Smoke/ Heat/Gas
