Jason Kronz has been appointed President and Chief Technical Officer (CTO). As president and CTO, Kronz will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of BuildingReports and for overseeing the creation and implementation of leading edge web-based reporting technology. Kronz has been with BuildingReports since its inception in 1999 and is responsible for creating its current innovative technology.

Dwight Wills has been appointed Vice President of Marketing and Sales. In his new role, Wills is responsible for strategic planning for marketing and sales services for the BuildingReports brand as well as leading external and internal growth strategies. Wills has been with the company since 2002 and most recently served as Director, US Memberships for BuildingReports.

Chris Dispain has been appointed Vice President of Member Services. In this role, Dispain will be responsible for leadership and management of all aspects of Member Services, including providing training, technical support, and proactive assistance to BuildingReports members. Dispain has been with BuildingReports since its start and served as Director of Member Services.

Inspector’s Boot Camp (IBC), sponsored by BuildingReports, has released its 2011 training schedule featuring several new inspection classes. IBC is one of the few resources providing professional training and certification in testing and inspections for the fire and life safety industry and offers training by leading industry experts on every aspect of conducting professional safety inspections in today’s commercial buildings.

The new inspection training includes the following hands-on courses:

  • Fire Alarm & Life Safety: May 9th – 13th, 2011
  • Extinguishers & Safety Equipment including Kitchen Hoods & Fire Doors: May 16th – 20th, 2011
  • Basic Fire Sprinkler: June 27th – July 1st, 2011

The FAST Lab includes a variety of fire alarm and working sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and extinguishing and suppression systems from top manufacturers. Students receive 3.6 CEUs for industry certifications, preparation for passing the IMSA Interior Fire Alarm Level I certification and the NAFED/ICC certification examination, as well as pre & post inspection assessments and professional customer interaction.
