The Fire Suppression Systems Association (FSSA) is a not-for-profit trade association, drawing members domestic and internationally aworking together to share ideas and strategies for the benefit of the fire suppression systems industry. The International Code Council (ICC) is a member-focused association. It is dedicated to developing model codes and standards used in the design, build and compliance process to construct safe, sustainable, affordable and resilient structures. One of the oldest organizations of its kind in the world, the International Municipal Signaling Association (IMSA) successfully represents its members by undertaking and completing many important Public Safety projects. In addition to BuildingReports not only supports IMSA's global safety initiatives, but also offers IMSA certification as part of it's Inspector's Boot Camp Basic Fire Alarm training courses.

The National Association of Fire Equipment Distributors (NAFED) defines it's guiding mission as "the principal objective of gathering and disseminating information and ideas that will improve the world's fire protection and increase the fire protection industry's competence."
